When you want parts, we want to be your go-to source. You won’t have to worry about us trying to influence your decision on a particular part, because we’re not a manufacturer. Each and every part we sell is completely interchangeable with components made by some of the most respected names in the industry. We know we have a high standard to meet, and our parts do that each and every time. These are just some of the reasons you should by your parts from us.

- Our parts are much more cost-effective than purchasing OEM components.

- We can help you avoid costly downtime by offering same-day shipping.
Choosing the Right Cylinder
The best type of truck hoist cylinder is a telescopic cylinder. The reason is it can handle a great deal of linear force over an extended distance, which is typically the kind of force applied by a truck.
Telescopic cylinders are perfect for dump trucks and trailers. Rod-type cylinders won’t work in these types of applications because they don’t allow the body of the dump truck to move back to its original position. Telescopic cylinders, on the other hand, fully collapse. The body of the truck won’t be tilted as a result.
Once you’ve narrowed down your choice to a telescopic cylinder, you’ll still have a decision to make between a single- or double-acting cylinder. A single-acting cylinder uses hydraulic force to extend, and then relies on gravity to retract. Dump trucks typically use single-acting cylinders.
Double-acting cylinders, on the other hand, use hydraulics to both extend and retract. These are more complex cylinders, so they’re more expensive as a result. They’re best for ejector trailers and eject trucks, because their bodies tend to move in a more horizontal direction.
