Hydraulic Cylinders For Sale Oregon
You’ll find no shortage of hydraulic cylinders for sale in Oregon, of course. So why should you always buy yours from Gorilla Spares? What sets us apart from the many, many competitors that are out there? First, no one can touch us when it comes to quality. Second, nobody beats our commitment to customer service. Third, you’ll pay a fraction of the price you’d pay by purchasing OEM parts. When you look at all the benefits of partnering with Gorilla Spares, you’ll never want to go anywhere else for your cylinders or other hydraulic system components.
Who is Gorilla Spares?
You might think we have a silly name, but when it comes to delivering the best parts anywhere, there’s nothing silly about us at all. We don’t manufacture parts, and we don’t have any kinds of distribution agreement with the companies whose products we carry. So you’ll never have to worry about us putting any sort of “hard sell” on you, or trying to steer you in a certain direction.
Why no high-pressure sales tactics? Because we really don’t need to do so. Our products basically speak for themselves. Gorilla Spares is a marketplace that connects smaller manufacturers, known as our partner vendors, with end users. These manufacturers produce parts that are just as durable and reliable as those made by the biggest names in the business. They just don’t have the e-commerce platforms needed to sell their products online.
Not just any company can work with us, however. We’re extremely selective when it comes to making a manufacturer a Gorilla Spares partner vendor. Our team members do exhaustive research on all prospective partners, and we test their products before we carry them. If a company can prove that it not only produces quality parts, but can also prove that is has a commitment to customer satisfaction, then we’ll carry their components. We do this because we want you to be completely confident in buying from us.
Cylinder Glossary
If you’ve done any research into hydraulic cylinders online, you’ve probably run into some odd terms. Here’s a brief look at what some of these terms mean.
- Barrel – When you think of a cylinder, this is probably the part that first comes to mind. Not only does the barrel make up the body of the cylinder, it performs many other important tasks as well. For example, the barrel is the area that holds the liquid that gives the cylinder its power. It also acts as a guide for the piston, and also acts as a surface for the piston seal.
- Bore – This is basically the diameter of the barrel, or tube. When you see the bore, that tells you how much power the cylinder has. As the bore number goes up, so does the amount of weight it can push or lift.
- Drift – If there is leakage in the barrel, that will make fluid move from side to side across the piston. As you can imagine, this isn’t a good thing. It could make the cylinder itself drift from side to side, and increase the chances for failure.
- Stroke – This is simply the amount of distance the piston moves through the tube. When the cylinder is fully extended, that distance is referred to as the stroke.
